Chandni in flame, but no one injured

Fire struck in a shop of electronic particles at Chandni Chawk near e-mall at about 2.35 pm yesterday. There is no news of injuries from the spot.
The fire got struck in a shop which sells electronic gadgets at 3 Madan Street, near e-mall at Chandni Chawk. It was 2.35 in the afternoon when the shop caught fire. The source of fire was the air conditioner of the shop. The shop contained huge number of thermocols and it has spread the fire massively. Those thermocol particles were in the false ceiling, which had no ventilation system. So the fire has become more complicated.
Six fire engines have been used to make it under control. The fire brigade took three hours to cease the flame. There was no news of injuries till 5.30 in the evening.
The director of fire brigade, Mr. Gopal Kr. Bhattacharya said, “It is not a big fire but it is complicated. It got struck from the AC at 2.35 pm. But there is no need to fear but it will take time to make it under control.”
Describing the fire Mr. Bhattacharya said, “Due to lack of ventilation and huge number of thermocols have become more complicated. For the false ceiling the flame has gone to this position. I don’t know how they get permission for this kind of false ceiling. Its very dangerous. But our workers are trying to make it under control. It will be done soon.”
The gadgets in the false ceiling were all destroyed. Some in the room were rescued safe.
