Sunday was not at all a good day for Indian cricket. India lost the match against Australia and Captain M.S.Dhoni has been suspended by ICC for slow over rate.  They lost the match by 110 runs. Now it would be difficult for all players to recover quickly.

Every India bowlers have executed their jobs very nicely. Irfan Pathan bowled for India after a long time. It was his comeback match. He took the wickets of three top order bats man of Australia. Though there was Ravindra Jadeja, Dhoni didn’t use him. Raina bowled a lot.

But all of these situations were not out of control. Dhoni was controlling very nicely. It was the 41st over when Australia attacked India with full force. Vinay kumar & Raina got their treatment.

India came to bat with the target of 288 runs. It was not so tough. But on Sunday Gabba cricket ground’s atmosphere was fully supporting Australia. It was tough to chase a big total under the flood light.

There wasn’t any extra energy to beat Australia. India’s top order went to the pavilion very quickly. But there was some strange things among the Indian bats man. They want to score quickly, which was not needed at that time. They got out by offsite edge, which is a common thing nowadays.

In the end, Captain Dhoni tried hard to save the match, as he is doing in this tournament. But he failed. Raina and Jadeja went back to the dressing room very quickly. Irfan Pathan tried to save the match with Dhoni. But his effort was not enough for the team.

Tuesday India will face Srilanka. It will be an interesting clash between these two world class teams. But everybody is very much sure that Srilanka will not surrender easily in front of India. So India needs improvement and we are hoping that they will do that without Dhoni.
