FOUR! Rene Farrell to Megan Banting. Length ball, driving, Hit Hard in the air under control past long on for 4 runs. An unbeaten 57 from Banting and half-centuries to Bolton and Piparo have lifted WA into the WNCL final on February 16 against NSW. Bolton joined Piparo with the visitors in trouble at 2-18 but were able to consolidate the innings and then put their side into a strong position in the middle overs. NSW were able to dismiss both set batters in quick succession but Banting played a quality knock with the lower and middle order to steer WA to the target of 224 in the 47th over. Farrell bowled a consistent spell of full and straight bowling to be the pick of the NSW bowlers with 3-25.
